Nestled in the heart of Lérez Valley , the town of Campo Lameiro holds the largest concentration of prehistoric rock carvings complexes outdoors throughout the peninsular Northwest , which has rightly earned with the title of " Capital of Galician rock art".

Aguardiente Party


The aguaardiente , also known as cane , is a liquor obtained from the distillation of the remains of grapes after making wine. There are several varieties such as brandy herbs ( herbs added during distillation ) , or white toast , which is transparent, and is often used combined with coffee.

Aguardiente is one of the products that each year becomes more famous in this council , and may become the basis of a strong industrialization.

The first weekend of every summer there is a festival in honor to this liquor , which is already a must for all representatives of this sector.

   

 

    Nature lovers will enjoy tours in an extraordinary atmosphere.

  • Maneses river route. It is a route of medium / low complexity , with total distance of three km. This is a straight character path , then you must take into account the return , which can be connected to the next, forming a larger route.
  • Petroglyphs interpretation center route. It is a path that starts at the end of the path of the Maneses river , ending along with the petroglyphs interpretation center. Like the above one, it is a path medium / low difficulty, a steep upward throughout the tour .
